Drag-and-Drop on Google Maps
Jun 28th, 2007 by Rob
Google Maps now allows you to drag-and-drop part of your route or any of its destinations. It’s perfect for avoiding certain roads or areas you know have a lot of traffic, or if you need directions to a destination and don’t know the exact address. It automatically computes your new route for you as you drag it around. To give it a try on your own map, all you need to do is grab the little blue box that appears when you mouse over the highlighted route.
